Perfect Fit Just a Photo Away

Using a clever and unique method for sizing, yurbuds from yurtopia promise custom fit ear pads for a variety of headphones and headsets.

And for surprisingly little money.

All you need to do is take a photo of your ear with either Apple style earbuds already in your ear, or a quarter held up next to it. At the end of the purchase process, you upload the photo and they send you a set of their ear pads that should fit perfectly.

The pads fit snugly in the ear and do a good job lowering ambient sound, enough so that you can listen to your iPod at lower volumes. There is a slight coloration in the mid-range, but the yurbuds add some bass usually lacking in earbuds.

The yurbuds will fit over many earbuds, or you can get them with headphones (called yurphones) or with adapters to fit Bluetooth headsets or the in-canal-type headphones (called, you guessed it, yurAdapters).
