Crestron V-Panel

1080p Touch

Crestron has announced their V-Panel line, notable as the first 1080p touchpanels.

Able to be installed just about anywhere in the home, the V-Panels have a host of cool new features.

All the info after the jump.

Able to double as a flat panel full HD display or a fully functioning touchpanel, the V-Panels can be mounted flush to a wall, or sit on a stand on a table/countertop.

The graphics engine is available separately, allowing for a smaller cabinet and more customization depending on the installation. This also means the V-Panels are lightweight and don't require fan cooling. At two inches deep, they're also very thin.

Crestron's DGE-1 and DGE-2 are the graphics engines designed to work with the V-Panels. The DGE-1 has one composite or s-video input. The DGE-2 supports HD via RGB/VGA and HDMI/DVI and DisplayPort.

The V-Panels and DGE-1 are available now, the DGE-2 will be available soon.
